Rebukes of the Scribes and Pharisees
The article examines the confrontation between Jesus and the Pharisees, in which Jesus criticizes the priority given to traditions over divine laws. In Matthew 15.1-9 and Mark 7.1-13, Jesus exposes Pharisaic hypocrisy by stressing the obligation of sincerity and spiritual authenticity.
